Dr. Aguilar graduated from the University of the East in 1986. He received post-graduate residency training in cosmetic dentistry at UCLA School of Dentistry. During the past 33 years, Dr. Aguilar has offered high-quality dentistry services to his patients in Southern California. Dr. Aguilar has been surgically placing and restoring dental implants in San Diego as an implant dentist for the past 24 years and has extensive experience in single-tooth, multiple teeth, or full mouth dental implant reconstruction, placing a special emphasis on esthetic considerations. He has been performing immediate load dental implants with a success rate of 99%. Dental implants placed and restored by Dr. Aguilar in the esthetic zone (specifically the upper and lower front of the mouth) are practically indistinguishable from your other natural teeth. He offers sedation for patients requiring implants and provides dental implant services to his patients in the most comfortable manner at a modern, high-tech office that employs 3D CT scans, laser dentistry, Invisalign® treatments, and growth factor stem cell surgery. Because of his strict sterilization protocols and adherence to the most advanced and innovative surgical techniques in implant dentistry, almost all dental implants are performed with minor or no postoperative discomfort.
Because Dr. Aguilar strongly believes in organized dentistry and the exchange of knowledge and technology as an implant dentist, he is an active member of the International Congress of Oral Implantology, California Implant Institute, International Academy of Dental Implantology, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and Academy of General Dentistry. He also serves as the President of the National Association of Filipino Dentists in America, and was the San Diego Filipino Dental Association President in 2009 and 2013.
